Various Preferences in the Control Panel ofYour Hosting Account


Drag and Drop control panel
allows you to arrange the sections to the order that is most suitable for you. Simply place your mouse cursor over the title bar of the section you would like to move then hold the mouse button down and drag the section to its new spot!


Change Password


To see how to change your account password you must login to Nexus.

Update Contact Info

Your contact information is used to notify you of many different things. It is used to get in touch with you in case of issues with your site/account, for example if you are running low on disk space or bandwidth (data transfer). It will also contact you when any cPAddon software installs become out of date so that you can update them to prevent security risks.

Please keep this information up to date and be sure to use at least one off network email address (not at your domain name) to be sure your receive any server sent notifications!

Change Style

This feature allows the overall look and feel of cPanel to be altered to fit your personal style. Several pre-installed styles are available to choose from and even more will become available in the future. You can preview a style by clicking it's picture. Select the radio button beneath it's picture and then click on Change Look and Feel to use that style. At anytime, you can change your style to the [root] or default style, or another style by returning to the Change Look and Feel interface.

Change Language

This function allows you to change the language that is displayed in your cPanel interface. Please note however that all communications must be in English.

Shortcuts

Shortcuts allows you to add shortcuts to your web browser that allows you to access the cPanel interface or cPanel Web Mail interface easily by dragging either of the links provided on the "Shortcuts" page to your browsers bookmarks toolbar, or to your computer desktop.

Why Should I Use cPanel Shortcuts?

Creating shortcuts in your web browser allows you easier and direct access to function in cPanel. Instead of multiple clicks within the user interface of cPanel you can just choose the shortcut from your desktop or shortcut bar in your browser and it will navigate you directly to the feature you wish to use in cPanel.
